COVID-19 Research

The FEWS-US (Food-Energy-Water for the Underserved and all of us) is involved in three COVID-19 related research projects: 1) impacts of COVID-19 on food supply chain, 2) wastewater and SARS-CoV-2, and 3) Converging COVID-19: Environment, Health, and Equity virtual conference series.   1. Food- “Adapting the food supply chain to the COVID-19 induced shock and beyond for a more resilient future” Funded by UC Merced emergency seed grant.

2. Wastewater- “Integrated Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment and Geospatial Analysis for Vulnerable Populations” funded through CITRIS.

3. Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors Converging COVID-19: Environment, Health, and Equity virtual conference series- 6 sessions for 6 weeks each Friday 9-10:30AM Eastern Time from 10/16 to 11/20/2020. All sessions were recorded.
